And, then they graduated :)

Oh my goodness!  I can’t believe how quickly my boys are growing up!  Both boys had graduation ceremonies on Tuesday.  Luke’s ceremony was in the morning, and it was SO sweet!  They performed a little song and the teachers shared something special about each student called an “appreciation”!

Luke’s appreciation was:

“Luke, I appreciate you for your amazingly sweet, shy, and caring nature.  I loved the stories you wrote about us getting married!  You have such a big heart and your friends and I were so lucky to have you around to brighten our days!  I have been so very proud to be your teacher!”

We had THE BEST kinder teacher!  Can you tell? 😉

We are going to miss her so much!

Jackson’s ceremony was Tuesday night.  And, oh my goodness–all of a sudden, we have a middle schooler!  The homeroom teachers also shared an “appreciation” about each student.

Jackson’s said:

“Jackson, we appreciate you because of your inquisitive mind and enthusiasm for learning.  You are always willing and eager to learn new things.  That zest for learning will take you far in life!”

My favorite part–After they read Jackson’s appreciation, the dad sitting next to me leaned over and told his wife: “Our daughter should totally date that guy!”  I mean, is there any better compliment from a dad? Swoon!

Here is Jack with his teacher.  She did such an amazing job of growing the special parts of Jackson and really encouraging him to be his best.  We owe so much to her–she has equipped him well for Middle School!

So proud of my boys!  They have made such incredible strides this year!  Jackson really challenged himself to be in the tip top of his class and met all of his goals that he made this year!   Luke did a great job in Kinder!  He is an AWESOME reader, a great mathematician, and already knows more science than I do!  😉  Great job, Jack and Luke! Can’t wait to see what next year brings!  Now, time for summer!!
