What a great Holiday weekend! This coming week is the first week of our full Fall Schedule, so we intentionally spent a lot of time in our PJs, swimming, and playing before the crazy begins. 🙂 Thursday night, we put sponge rollers in Presley’s hair before bed time. So, it was looking super curly and fabulous for our lunch date at the mall with friends and during errands.
I am so thankful for precious friends like Shay and Erika who happen to be super wonderful AND share my love for brisket tacos and Starbucks. 🙂 Presley was having an off day while we were at the mall, but I guess that happens when you are 4 years old! 🙂 On Sunday, I told Presley we were going to the grocery store, but I took her for a pedicure instead. Oh my goodness! I can hardly stand how perfectly she sat in that chair–she thinks she is a big girl, for sure!
Our finished product
Sunday night, we had a date night with our super sweet friends. Gosh, I love this guy! 🙂
And, on Labor day, we visited the new donut shop in town.
And, since the kids had ingested like 80 times the recommended sugar intake for small children, we did what any other normal family would do. We went for a walk, built “houses” out of sports equipment
and had bicycle races down the driveway.
Also, I totally fell in love with this from the new Matlida Jane line. I mean, precious. Maybe a little over the top, but that usually makes me love it more. 😉 I really appreciate unexpected pairings–hopefully, this will be just as cute in person! I will keep you posted!
Also, I love that my friends are on Oreo Watch for me–A girlfriend saw these in Target, and how could we NOT talk about Caramel Apple Oreos?
I wish I could say that I love them…I wanted to be behind them, because I do love Fall…but they were just kind of yuck. They definitely had the general taste of a Caramel Apple, but the caramel was just too sweet in my opinion! However, they are so fun and festive! So, why not grab a pack?
Also, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. My heart aches for the mamas who fight for their sick babies, so we are “going Gold” for Pediatric Cancer awareness all this month! I am also praying for a cure! If you know of a family who is battling pediatric cancer, I offer complimentary sessions as an encouragement to these families. So, please have them contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. 🙂
Happy Tuesday! XOXO Narci
