1. Big Brother (Speaking of “Holla” 😉 )
Y’ALL!! Wasn’t last night’s episode SO good? It has been so boring lately, but I nearly fell over when Derek won HOH on the first question of the competition. It would have been so entertaining to see Frankie go home, but Christine really needed to be sent packing.
Dear Derek, thank you for not sending home Victoria and wasting my Thursday night! XOXO
And, Christine. Oh, we could spend a lot of time taking about her realtionship with Cody. Plus, she totally broke the Girl Code when she ditched her friend, Nicole, for a bunch of guys who just used her for her votes. I felt awful for her when she she came out to the “boos” and the realization of how she was viewed after her eviction, but you reap what you sow, girlfriend. #sorrynotsorry
Poor thing has a few messes to clean up after this game is over!
2. Pumpkin Bread
One of my awesome friends, Melissa, posted on Facebook about making Pumpkin Bread for her family! I am totally whipping up some batches for the weekend. I love homemade breads in the Fall/Winter! Here is my Recipe!
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground allspice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
3 cups white sugar
1 cup canola oil
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups solid pack pumpkin puree
2/3 cup water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease two loaf pans.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and cloves.
In a large bowl with an electric mixer, blend sugar, oil and eggs. Stir in pumpkin. Slowly blend the flour mixture into pumpkin mixture. While blending the mixture add water incrementally. Pour the batter into two prepared loaf pans.
Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 90 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pans.
3. Fall Television!
Big Brother will be ending before we know it, but that means all of my favorite Fall shows will be back. We will be seeing more of Miss Oilvia
And, Downton Abbey will be back in January! Can’t wait!
Happy Friday! Link up with us and tell us your Friday Favorites! XOXO Narci 🙂
