Carpool Book Club

Hey, y’all!!  Today, we are debuting our new Book Club link-up!

On every 3rd Wednesday, we’ll be talking about the books that we’ve read, our reviews, and linking up together to form an online book club community!  You’ll get tons of recommendations for books to read each month, meet some new and fun ladies, and have access to real life book reviews at the same time!  Since we are all busy mamas who read in carpool and our other extra moments, this should be so fun!

Before we get started though, I thought I might reintroduce myself in case we have new readers joining!

My name is Narci, and I was born and raised in Dallas, TX!  I am a newborn and family photographer for the North Texas area, and I love Jesus and SEC Football (Hotty Toddy)!  Robert and I have been married for 14 years, and we have 3 precious babies: Jackson, Luke, and Presley.

This month I read two books!  With a business to run and 3 kids, I consider finishing two books to be a accomplishment in and of itself!  haha!

1.  The Fringe Hours

This book was just so good!  The author did such an amazing job of speaking to my mama heart!  As mamas, we fill so many roles: chef, nanny, maid, driver, cheerleader, nurse and sometimes it can be overwhelming!  Fringe Hours did such a great job showing real ways that mamas can cultivate balance in their lives and extend grace to themselves when they can’t do it all.  If you are a mama, then you need to read this!!

2.  Charlotte Street

I mentioned that I was reading this earlier this month, and it really is so cute.  It is based in London, and is super cheeky and fun!  It reads a lot like a Hugh Grant movie and was very entertaining!  If you love anything British, you’ll love this book!

Okay, girls!  Just post about your reads this month, link back to this post, and join the link up below!  Can’t wait to read everyone’s book recommendations!!  Happy Wednesday!!

    • Hi, Kelli!! Thanks for the comment!! ❤️ I agree! It is so hard to find the time to read, and some months I do better than others when it comes to that! Hope you find some time to read Fringe Hours–it really is great! 🙂 xoxo Narci
