Weekend Wrap-Up :)

Hey, y’all!!  I hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!  Robert is an Air Force veteran, but I am just so especially thankful for the amazing men and women who have fought and died for our country.

I’d really like to be able to post a bunch of fun pictures of BBQs and pools, but it did this most of the weekend.

So, we just did a little bit of everything.  We went for family walks when the weather let us.

We indulged with Hot Krispy Kreme donuts

I started a new book!  It’s super cute and makes for light reading so far!

We played skeeball

and redeemed our winning tickets for tiny plastic toys that will likely find their way to the trash bin by Fall.  ðŸ˜‰

We took Chuck E Cheese bathroom selfies. These little vneck tees are perfect for comfy casual days. 🙂

And, we shopped for furniture for the new house. I wish I had a video of Robert’s Donald Trump impression.  He sat down in this chair and told us all that we were fired.  haha.

On Monday, I posted this picture on Instagram with the following caption.  I snapped this shot when we got home for the day. Reposting here, in case anyone needs to hear it.  ðŸ™‚

“Every time it rains, my left arm and hand ache and swell–just a gentle reminder of the accident 11 years ago that we probably shouldn’t have walked away from–the one that totaled the car, put me in the hospital, and had my entire left arm in bandages for weeks. Two months later, I was saved by the transforming power of Christ…I like to think that accident opened up my eyes to where I might spend eternity when my time really did come…and THAT is worth remembering. #jesussaves”

If you’d like to read about my testimony when I was saved, you can here.

Happy Tuesday, friends!  Tomorrow, I am linking up with What’s Up Wednesday! XOXO Narci

  1. Where was our Memorial Day weather???? We stayed inside too! I was drinking coffee and wearing sweats…that’s the exact opposite of what I should have been doing on Memorial Day! Happy Tuesday friend!

  2. Your testimony was one of the very first posts I ever read on your blog and I felt and instant connection as mine is somewhat similar. Jesus is amazing! Have a great week Narci.

  3. Narci – thanks you for sharing a part of your life and your testimony. Perhaps you will share about the car accident in a future post? How mighty is our Lord. God bless

  4. I have just read your testimony and it fills me with hope I am praying that my husband will open his heart to God, I am a ‘new’ believer where God was not in my life growing up. Your testimony gives me hope thank you

    • Mrs Kensington–I am going to be praying so hard for you and your husband. Transitioning as a new believer is so hard, and I will pray for your hubby to open his heart to Jesus!! Feel free to email me anytime if you get discouraged. ❤️ and, thank you! Narcidphotography@gmail.com

I love to hear from you! Leave a comment here! :) XO Narci
