Michigan–Day 1

Hey, y’all!! We are having a great time with family in Michigan!

Yesterday, we went to our favorite little German town, Frankenmuth, MI!  We always look forward to this part of our trip!!

We had lunch at our favorite pizza spot: Tiffany’s!

And, checked out the cutest toy store.

Can you find me among the beanie boos? πŸ˜‰

Afterwards we checked out a local cupcake shop that won season 7 of cupcake wars! We tried out the Samoa flavor and it was delicious!!

I love that I can wear my fun top from Stich fix, jeans, and sandals and still be comfy on a Michigan summer day!

When we were driving from Florida, I had food poisoning and then my allergies totally wiped me out this day. I’m not going to lie–I sat down whenever I could. πŸ˜‰

Frankenmuth is on a pretty river! I feel like this bridge is straight out of a movie!

We walked down to the riverside

Crossed over the bridge

And saw the ferry go right under us! So fun!!

And, then we celebrated a little bit of Christmas in June by visiting  the world’s largest Christmas store–Bronner’s!

Each of the kids picked out an ornament for the Christmas tree. πŸ™‚

And, then we played outside. The kids are loving playing with their cousin and other Michigan relatives!!  So much fun!!

Happy Tuesday, y’all!! Xoxo n

  1. We have some ornaments from that store! I have never been there but my inlaws live in Sarnia (on the border of Michigan and Ontario) so I’m sure we will vist someday soon. Enjoy your trip!
