Show and Tell: House Tour

Hey, y’all!!  Today, we are linking up with Andrea over at Momfessionals for her Show and Tell  Home Tour!  I have to tell you that when I was looking over her list of topics in January, I called her and squealed that the tour would be perfect timing as we were to be closing on 7/1.  Haha!  We aren’t quite ready to close, but we are moving right along!  The next time I give you a home tour, we will be all moved in!  Hooray!

I went to take updated pics yesterday, and there were a ton of workers having lunch in my driveway!  I let them eat in peace, but here is part of the front!  We went for a very classic look!  We are going to be adding black shutters and some window boxes soon!

it has been so fun to watch the building process unfold!

Here is our dining room! šŸ™‚

And, the studio! šŸ™‚ Can’t wait to have all of the sweet newborns visit me here!

Looking into the family room

And, the fireplace and stairs!

The master bedroom!  Those windows face our tree line, and I can’t wait to read a book on a comfy chair in here!

We are still waiting on the framed mirror in in the master bathroom, but it’s looking good!  I stressed the most over this room and the kitchen when making my design choices!

Y’all might remember that I am super obsessed with hallways!  Here is a little before and after of my favorite hallway in the house.

And, a little peek upstairs!

The kitchen had a bunch of boxes piled up in there when I went to take pictures, but here is one of my faves from a few weeks ago!

And, in case you are looking for a few ideas to make your building process fun and intentional for your family…we buried a Bible in the foundation on the day that they poured!  This was such a wonderful moment for us!

And, we covered the house in Bible verses before the installed the sheetrock!

We also brought glow sticks one night and had the best time running around the dark house!  What a blast!

Thanks so much for the link up, Andrea!!  I can’t wait to tour everyone’s homes!!  Happy Tuesday! XOXO Narci

  1. So beautiful. I loved that you put a Bible in the foundation and scripture all over the walls. Our church is building a new building on our existing property and we did the same thing in all of our services a few months back. Everyone took Sharpies and wrote Scripture and prayers all over the new building and we dedicated it to the Lord. Such a great memory for your sweet little ones.

I love to hear from you! Leave a comment here! :) XO Narci
