Show and Tell Tuesday!

Hey, y’all!! Today, I am linking up with Andrea over at Momfessionals for Show and Tell Tuesdays!

Today, we are talking about our (and our spouse’s) first jobs! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love hearing about people’s first jobs! Robert and I had two great ones!

My first job

Maybe these guys will ring a bell for you!

I was a sales associate for a Old Navy while I was in college.  ๐Ÿ™‚

And, listen, I can still fold a jean stack like a boss. ๐Ÿ˜‰ We had the best time every day at work, and I made some great friends that I still keep touch with today!

After college, I went to work in fundraising for a charity.

It really was my dream job out of college–we met with donors and held charity dinners and various other events. What fun memories, and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be part of something so rewarding !

Once we had kiddos, the long 12 hour days were too hard for a family, so I decided to stay home and shortly after that, a tiny seed was planted…a love for capturing special moments on camera…and the rest, as they say, is history. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Robert’s first job

Robert grew up in my favorite small town in MIchigan. And, as a teenager, he worked as a gas station attendant. side note: he still insists on pumping my gas every single time we fill up my car. ๐Ÿ™‚

After that, he had his next big job…

He was in the Air Force, and I am so proud of his service !

Since the Air Force and college, Robert has worked in engineering for a telecommunications company in the Dallas area. โค๏ธ

Thank you so much for the fun linkup, Andrea!! ๐Ÿ™‚ Happy Tuesday!! Xoxo Narci

  1. I bet you can fold clothes like no other! I always try to get my clothes crisply folded like they do in the store and it NEVER looks the same. You might need to come over and give me a lesson :).

  2. I am amazed by the sales associates who fold and stack clothes, especially during those sales times when everything is a heap on the table! Please tell Robert “Thank you” for his service in the Air Force (If you were married at the time he served, thank you for being a military spouse. I have read that it is not easy to be married to the Armed Forces). And it’s so sweet of him to fill up the gas tank!

I love to hear from you! Leave a comment here! :) XO Narci
