A few weeks ago, I shared a few pictures from our trip to the Arboretum. They were just simple iphone shots…mainly because I was backlogged with client images, and I didn’t have time to pull the ones from my professional camera and prep them for the blog.
Even as a photographer, I really embrace camera phones…because thank goodness, they catch the moments that you might not otherwise pull your fancy camera out for. Plus, can I get an amen for something that you can send to Grandma in a blink of an eye! Are they technical or perfect? No. But, are they precious memories that are to be cherished. Yes!
However, I did have a few minutes to pull our Arboretum photos yesterday…and I am so glad that I did….because as precious as an iphone shot is…I often don’t get the “in-between” shots….
Like when Presley looked up at me with those sweet eyes after a million more posed smiles
Or that perfect mischevious look that gives away his silly personality under his shy exterior
The silly faces
The curious glances
and maybe a posed one for good measure 😉
A reminder of how she skips (or bounces) wherever she goes
and the REAL smiles 🙂
The “in-between” shots show that these two are normally up to something silly.
and that someday she won’t want to go on a fairy hunt
That look that she gets when she is thinking a big thought. She has so many things to say and think since she started kinder!
The in between shots are my favorites. 🙂
Happy Thursday! Xoxo n
