Show and Tell Tuesday: A Day in the Life

Hey, y’all!!  Today, we are linking up with Andrea for her “Show and Tell Tuesdays!” Woohoo!

The topic is “A Day in the Life”.  I can’t wait to read through these!! Show and Tell - Big List

Somehow, I managed to forget about this until yesterday and my Monday  was full of just everyday normal stuff!

I woke up at my normal time!  Rise and Shine!

My bff was there to help me wake up.  πŸ™‚ I’m a morning person by necessity, and it doesn’t come naturally to me.  Caffeine helps with that! πŸ˜‰

Surprise!  Jackson left his football clothes in the laundry room for me to clean!

After I threw his clothes in the washer, I started my quiet time.  We started a couples Bible study a few weeks ago, and this week we are studying Jesus and Mary. πŸ™‚

After I was done with that, I read a chapter of my new favorite book. IMG_1946

It’s so good!

I switched Jackson’s clothes over to the dryer, and folded another load of laundry.

And, by that time, Presley was up and wanted to help stuff her Birthday invitations for her friends!

These crazy kids were ready to go in the carpool lane.  πŸ™‚

And, after drop off, I went to the gym.  I forgot to grab a picture there, but let’s all pretend that I am that girl up front.  πŸ˜‰

It was my first time back to the gym since our move which totally justified a Starbucks run. πŸ˜‰

And, then I spent the rest of the day working!  I listened to  Gilmore Girls while I worked!  This is the episode where Emily gets pulled over.  So funny!!

I picked up Luke and Presley, and then we went to Target to pick up a few groceries! We found a few things to put on our birthday list while we were there. πŸ™‚

And, then we went to pick up Jackson!  We had an early dinner!

We made super nutritious Mummy Hot Dogs. I had the supplies to make them Halloween weekend, but we never got around to it!

Then, we did showers and bedtime.  πŸ™‚  After the kids went to bed, I got back to work!  I packaged up our candy and sent it off to our troops!

One of my sweet reader’s husband is a pilot in the Air Force.  His sister squadron is in Afghanistan!  If you’d like the address of their squadron, shoot me a quick email and I will pass it on.  I am so thankful that we have an opportunity to bless someone with our candy!

After that I finished up my editing for the day, blogged, and returned emails. I folded one more load of laundry and cleaned up the kitchen for the night before heading to bed.

Just a normal Monday!

What a fun link-up!  Thank you, Andrea!  Happy  Tuesday!! Xoxo n
