Christmas Bucket List

Hey, y’all!!  Last night, we cozied up by the fire and came up with our Christmas Bucket List! This is going to be such a fun year!  th (4)

This is our first year for a formal Christmas bucket list.  Maybe next year, I’ll be more creative than sharpies and cardstock. 😉 (or maybe not)

I’ll be keeping you posted when we check things off our list!  For instance, we already visited Downtown McKinney for the Christmas tree lighting!

And, last night we started our family Advent study!

Kelly recommended this one to her readers last year, and we fell in love with it!  My favorite part of the study are the application questions at the end.  If you are looking for a good Advent study, this is the one!

My mother-in-law is so sweet to send the kids advent calendars each year, and we just love her for that!  Each night, we open the corresponding door, and we display them under the tree in the playroom upstairs.  I love this tradition!

Also, I saw this on Facebook–what an awesome idea!!

We are going to be using this in tandem with a few other things we have planned as our “Show God’s love to others” part of our bucket list. 🙂

And, finally, our Elf, George, came back!  IMG_3067

We accidentally left him off our list, but Christmas just wouldn’t be the same without his shenanigans. 😉

You can keep up with our Christmas fun via my Instagram here!  Happy Wednesday, y’all!!  XOXO Narci

  1. Our elf came back for the first time yesterday morning, and Carter was so excited! Well, I was working on the computer this morning at 5:00 when Carter came downstairs and said he had a bad dream. I got him all cuddled up on the couch and told him to go back to sleep, but then he was all, “Um…why is Tootie still in the tree?” Oops. Note to self: move at night in case the little turkey wakes up super early.
