Weekend Wrap-up!

Wow–what a busy weekend!   Friday was fifties day!  Y’all give me a dress up day that includes poodle skirts and bobby socks…and the Dreffs kids are all in.

These two were ready for a fun day!img_5920

Everyone had super fun Valentine’s activities going on in their classrooms!

After we got home, I looked over and caught this sweet girl flipping through my favorite cookbooks!  So sweet!img_5947

That night, we had Jackson’s friends and their families over for dinner before their first Middle school Valentine’s dance!

Y’all.  I guess this pose is popular among the middle schoolers?  Something to do with Cam Newton? I have no clue.  Normally, I’d google that, but it’s just too late for me to become hip…so why start now?  😉 The boys were precious though and had such a good time!

Then, we were off to the elementary sock hop to dance the night away!

We saw all of our school friends there.  🙂img_5964

These two  are such good buddies, and we love Carter a ton!

On Saturday morning, I spent some quality time with this precious girl!  Her hair has a natural wave to it….and she had just the perfect amount of bedhead that morning!  Seriously, when you wake up with good hair…it’s worth documenting! 🙂

While the kids played outside, I wrapped up some editing!

And, then Miss P, and I had some fun with the camera!  DSC_8777 DSC_8794DSC_8785

Isn’t that sweatshirt the best??  You can pick one up here!

Luke had been sick  ALL DAY Saturday with a tummy bug, so we stayed home from church on Sunday, and had a sweet little Valentine’s breakfast…

and a family cupcake decorating contest!  As you can see Luke recovered in time for this!img_6083

Presley is a big fan of eating the supplies. 😉img_6088

Luke’s finished product! ha!

And, then we ended the night by grilling steaks and playing card games by the fire!

The perfect ending to a perfect weekend!   Have a great Monday, y’all!   XOXO Narci

  1. Presley really should have lived in the 50s. And we are so thankful for Luke. Pretty sure Carter would have just hugged the wall if y’all hadn’t shown up. And it’s all fun and games until you get launched in the air and your parents think you have a concussion. Ha! 🙂

  2. My 4th grade students posed that same way last week…thanks for allowing me to have a clue what it’s about! Looks like a great weekend!

  3. You have the sweetest little family! It looks like you had a fun Valentine’s Day weekend, aside from poor Luke being sick! Also the baby in your photo shoot is adorable!

I love to hear from you! Leave a comment here! :) XO Narci
