Hey, y’all! Today, I am linking up with Shay and Erika for their super fun link-up!
Each month, we will share what 3 things we’d take with us to a deserted island, according to the monthly theme! So fun!
This month, we are talking about what three books we’d be taking with us! Now, I know I should be taking something practical like an atlas or an outdoor survival book. However, if we are being honest I am probably the least outdoorsy person you will ever have the pleasure of meeting and won’t last 2-3 days in the wilderness. Since I have no chance of surviving a deserted island scenario, I might as well be bringing my favorite books so I can enjoy my last few days! 😉
1. Pride and Prejudice
Yes, ma’am. If you handed this book to me right this minute, I’d sit down for a spell and read it from cover to cover. I just can’t get enough of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth and Jane! The angst, the writing…all of it. I am a big fan!
2. To Kill a Mockingbird
This is a close second, and it pulls at my heart every single time! So much that Scout and Harper were on my list of girl names when we were pregnant with Presley. 🙂 I haven’t read this one in a few years but it’s one of my very favorites, and I am totally thinking that I need to pull this one back out again!
3. The Help
So, I read this book (and saw the movie later), and I loved it so very much! The movie was great, but the book was EVEN BETTER. If you haven’t read this book yet, I can almost guarantee that you will love it! Such a good story!
What a fun linkup! Thank you, Shay and Erika! Happy Wednesday, y’all!! XOXO Narci

I haven’t read Pride and Prejudice in years! Maybe I should revisit it? Megan Butler picked it too!

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite, too! I’ve read it over and over. That being said, have you read Eligible: A modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice by Curtis Sittenfeld? It’s a really fun read!
