Hey, y’all! Today, I am sharing about day 3 and 4 of our trip to Destin!
On day 3, I woke up early and took advantage of the amazing balcony at our hotel to get some reading in. 🙂 It was so relaxing!
Then, we went downstairs to the Hilton breakfast buffet. We are huge fans of breakfast in our house, so this was a big hit. 🙂 We had made to order omelettes, waffles, biscuits, grits, bacon, and more! Everything was delicious! Perfect!
After breakfast, we went out for beach time!
PS Jackson grabbed those shots…I had to crop out his size 10 shoes, but he has a killer creative eye! 🙂
And, then walked to the Hotel pool restaurant for lunch! They have the best fish tacos! Yummy!
Oh, Luke! 🙂
After lunch, the boys went kayaking!
And, then we cleaned up and went to dinner! This night, we went to Hammerhead’s in Baytowne Wharf. Baytowne Wharf is so cute with lots of fun restaurants and shops to check out!
My big boys were looking super handsome.
and this cute boy, too!
Rob and I were still full from a gigantic lunch, so we shared an appetizer and dessert! The Key Lime Pie and Bread Pudding were amazing! These three had so much fun!
You can even walk out on the pier and catch an amazing sunset!
Our family of five 🙂
After dinner, we took the kids to the hotel pool to do some night swimming. 🙂
While mom and dad had a chance to chat on the side.
On day 4, we got up super early and picked up donuts from our favorite Donut place in Sandestin: The Donut Hole!
These donuts were delish!
Then, we went on an early morning shell hunt! The water is so incredible that early in the morning! Wow!
We found sea dollars and lots of fun shells to bring home!
And the rest of the day was spent wave jumping and enjoying the pretty weather!
After lunch, we got ice cream from the Hotel Ice Cream shoppe. 🙂
And, then cleaned up for dinner! On this night, we went to Harry T’s in Harborwalk village.
I think they have the best Fried Shrimp in town! Also, this view was pretty amazing!
I don’t make my 5 take family pictures very often, but I was so thrilled to get another cute one that night! Love them so much!
When I was talking with my girlfriends, Amy and Shana, about our trip they mentioned that they sometimes do puzzles during vacations to eat up that extra sitting around time in a hotel. Girls, I thought this was brilliant!! So, I picked up a puzzle, and Shana surprised my kids with a puzzle before we left! Here they are working on Shana’s puzzle after dinner.
They loved this, and I loved that their brains were working while they were having fun!
Another great few days in our favorite place! Tomorrow is Friday which means we will be hosting our Friday Favorites, and then I’ll be back next week to finish up our trip!
Happy Thursday, y’all!! XOXO N
