Carpool Book Club

Hey, y’all!  Today is Carpool Book Club! Woohoo! Each month, I share the books that are on my nightstand!  img_9943

These are the books that I read as a busy mama of 3!  I read during carpool, at soccer or cheer practice, or in my extra time after the kids go to bed.  Here we go!

I finished up this book this month, and I really enjoyed it!!

I love a book about family relationships, and this one did not disappoint! I loved that it had a slightly different spin on family dynamics.  Plus, the characters were believable and thoughtfully written!

Next, while I was running errands, I finished up listening to this one on my Audible App.  img_9941

The book was great, and I do like the Audible/Audio Book option.  However, I think that I do best listening to fiction when I will be driving for a longer period time…not running around town for 10 minutes here and there. 🙂 I had a hard time keeping focused because of this, but the story itself was so interesting!

And, finally, this was my favorite book this month

I just love Liane Moriarty, and Big Little Lies is the perfect summer read!  All of the characters are so interesting and funny, and it kept me turning the page until the very end!  I heard that this one is being made into a miniseries, and I will definitely be tuning in for that!

Currently, I am reading this one… img_9938

I am about a third of the way through!  So far, it reads very much like a thriller and is very tense and suspenseful.  This kind of writing isn’t my favorite (I cover my eyes during the scary/uncomfortable parts of movies! ha!) but the author does a really good job of keeping you guessing and is well written!  If you are into this sort of story, then you will probably love this one!

Also, currently, I am wrapping up this sweet book

I have a feeling that it is going to speak to so many women, and you should definitely check it out!

And, I have these 3 books are waiting on my nightstand for summer!

A great beach readimg_9946

another Amazon suggestion!  I’ve heard this one is good too!

And, a recommendation from a friend.  img_9945

I’m not going to lie–I am already feeling convicted by this one, and I’ve only read the title and subtitle. 😉

Hope you found some ideas for your summer reading list!  If you have a book suggestion, I’d love to hear it!  Happy Thursday! XOXO Narci
