Hey, y’all! Today, we are linking up with Andrea for her super fun Show and Tell Tuesdays!
Twice a month, we show and tell about a different topic!
This week, we are talking about our favorite Christmas tradition: The Candy Cane Flashlight hunt!
This tradition is perfect for cold, winter nights when you need something fun and festive! So, first things first, we picked up some candy canes from our local grocery store! Last year, we found some at this store with Bible verses attached. I loved that! This year, they didn’t have these, so we just picked up the standard candy canes. We are going to try it again tonight with verses that I attach from the Christmas Story. After they find all the candy canes, they can put the verse together in their proper order!
Since it was dark, we made the hiding spots pretty easy for Luke and Presley. 🙂 We did a more challenging round for Jackson afterwards.
Using your flashlight just makes everything more fun!
She found one!
I found myself getting more pictures of Presley, because Luke was MOVING SO FAST. He pretty much owns this little game! haha.
We had to count them to make sure we found them all!
Here’s an easy little list on how to do a basic Candy Cane hunt at your house too!
Can’t wait to read about everyone else’s favorite traditions! Thank you for the linkup, Andrea!! XOXO Narci

What is it about flashlights and making things more fun? I’m pretty sure my kiddos would happily pick up their rooms if I told them to do it with the lights off and a flashlight. Ha!
