Workin’ It Wednesday: Goals

Hey, y’all!! It’s Wednesday, and I am so happy to be linking up with two of my girls, Shay and Erika, for their NEW LINK-UP….Workin’ It Wednesdays!!  workin-it-wednesdays

Truth be told: I am a busy girl….I manage three precious kiddos, their commitments, a photography business, this blog, a fun Stella and Dot gig, and much more.   I can’t wait to share what’s worked for our little family and read about your awesome tips, too. 🙂  My best ideas always come from my friends, so I am excited to plug into this set of topics!

Today, we are sharing our New Year’s goals!  And, honestly, I have a list of really boring goals, but they all center around my word for 2017!

My goal for 2017 is to be a girl who ACTS when God stirs and who OBEYS when convicted.  Not just about the big exciting things…but also, for the small things that I might otherwise be too distracted for, like: taking time out of my day to make more phone calls to those I care about, going out of my way to love on the people who need it, and being more intentional about filling my cup so I am able to fill up others… My goal  is to not let these potential ACTions pass by just as good intentions.  I don’t know about you, but it is so easy to get wrapped up in our everyday routine!   I am looking forward to deviating a little and acting on the perfect moments that God puts in front of us to be his Hands and feet if we are looking hard enough!

Also, I reaaaaally think that this will be the year that Joanna Gaines and I become besties. 😉 hahaha.

Just kidding, of course!  JOANNA: IF YOU ARE READING THIS, CALL ME #shiplapforever

Thanks for the link up, friends!! Happy Wednesday!! XOXO Narci

  1. Ok Narci, I’m going to assume you’ve read the Magnolia Story?!?!?! Aren’t they just the cutest?! I’m really wanting to take a girls trip to Waco. I wish I lived close enough to drive like you and your girls did. Love your ACT goal. #greatidea

  2. Your word made me think of Joanna Gaines–and then you mentioned her! I just finished their book last night and it had me weeping at the end. First, their relationship–I loved how every challenge made them stronger and second, Joanna’s obedience and willingness to ACT and listen when the Lord spoke to her even when deep down she didn’t always want to or had some questions or doubts. Sooo inspiring. She makes me want to be better! Love your word, Narci!

  3. I love this! I tend to procrastinate on little things (oh I’ll wash that pan later or I’ll fold the clothes later) and then when later comes I’m mad at myself for putting it off! I had decided one of my resolutions was to not do that and I could not think of a good word to describe that! I love Act & think I will make that my word too!

I love to hear from you! Leave a comment here! :) XO Narci
