Hey, y’all!! I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was quiet and pretty much perfect! On Friday, I spent the day working at the computer. How can I complain, when I am staring at sweetness like this? 🙂
Presley, and I had fun looking through the new Stella and Dot line when she got home. This girl is getting so big, and she loved checking out all the pretties with me!
On Saturday, I had a sweet newborn and 6 month old session come to the studio, but we spent the night cozying up, watching football, and grilling steaks together!
On Sunday, we did church and more football. (Oh, Cowboys.) But, on Monday, the kids and I had a fun little adventure in Dallas. I took them to one of my favorite Burger Places from when I was their age. Burger House is across the street from the SMU campus, and the kids loved checking it out!
Afterwards, we drove through the campus, and then strolled through the George W. Bush Library!
I really had no idea about what to expect, but this Library and Museum was so neat! There was an exact replica of President Bush’s oval office
And, a ton of interactive exhibits that the kids loved!
I should add that the 9/11 portion of the museum was simply amazing. It was powerful and such a moving tribute.
There was even a little section about the Presidential Dogs, which these two loved!
We picked up ice cream on the way home and played outside until dinnertime. The perfect ending to a long weekend!
So thankful for these days with our babes! What a blessing!! Happy Tuesday, y’all!! XOXO N

You and your crew made the most of that day off! I always stay in my little bubble and rarely drive outside a ten mile radius but your adventure looks fun!
