Hey, y’all!! It’s time for carpool Book Club! Woohoo! Each month, I share the books that are on my nightstand!
These are the books that I read as a busy mama of 3! I read during carpool, at soccer or cheer practice, or in my extra time after the kids go to bed. This month is SO FUN, because we will be linking up with each other!! Just our very own virtual book club with tons of suggestions! Yay! Here we go!
Winter Street
This book is part of a series by Elin Hilderbrand who is one of my favorite authors. I tend to favor light fiction, and this one did not disappoint. It definitely was not my favorite Hilderbrand book, but it was silly and a quick read around the Holidays. One of my girlfriends read this in July, and I thought that was such a CUTE idea. She was over the hot, sweaty summer days, and this was the perfect antidote for her! Love that!
It Ends with Us
Shay named this book as her favorite book of 2016, and I KNEW that I had to pick this one up because of that! My girl, Shay, has great taste in books, and this one did not disappoint at all! It was really THAT good…In fact, I finished this one in just 2 days! Trust me, y’all need this book in your life!
The Husband’s Secret
Liane Moriarty books are my favorite to read because they are fun, fast-paced, and always a page turner. I thought I had read all of her books, but this one popped up in Amazon suggestions! If you haven’t read this one, you will love this book as well! Her characters are always so fascinating, and the story line in this novel is really interesting!
You’ll Get Through This
This one popped up in my Amazon suggestions as well! I have read a handful of Lucado’s books, and he always is right on point! So, this book is aimed at individuals who are going through something hard or very emotional, so I wasn’t in the right season to personally apply some of this to my life. However, I really gained a lot of understanding from this book, and would definitely recommend it!
The Magnolia Story
Well, you probably know these two from Fixer Upper, and if you are a fan of their show…then you are likely to love this book as well. This book is a personal narrative of their story and is told by Chip and Joanna with their typical, cute banter back and forth. What I wasn’t expecting is that they dug deep and offered some really encouraging and inspiring stories from their journey! What a blessing!
Right now, I am in the middle of listening to this on Audible, so we will talk about that next time!
The reviews are outstanding, so I can’t wait to get a little further!
What have you read recently? Leave your suggestions in the comments! Or, if you are a blogger, don’t forget to link back to this post, and join the link-up just below. I can’t wait to read them all!! Happy Thursday, y’all!! XOXO N

I just added the Lucado one to my list. Definitely need it right now with dealing with a certain 11 year old girl. Ugh!
I just read Finding Jake by Bryan Reardon and A Fall of Marigolds by Susan Meissner. Both may make my top 10 list for the year. Anything by Susan Meissner is really good!

I loved the Winter Street trilogy! I just finished it last week. I also read The Magnolia Story in like 2 days, it made me love them even more. I’m currently reading Behind Closed Doors and I CANNOT put it down. It’s a little dark and creepy but oh so good! It reminds me a little bit of gone girl. Check it out!
