Hey, y’all!! We had a fun little weekend over here!! Presley had a few friends over, so we headed over to the pool!
Unfortunately, the lifeguards had to keep the kids out of the water for quite some time due to lightning in the area. This was kind of a bummer, so I asked the kids what might cheer them up while we waited….and they dared me to jump off the diving board once they opened up the pool again. I’m not one to turn down a good dare, and I’ll do anything to make them smile! Mission accomplished: they were laughing so hard!! 😉
Silly kids! 😉
On Saturday morning, I had two early morning sessions
followed by Jackson’s first Freshman Football Scrimmage!
I am so proud of all the hard work he’s put into this this summer!
After Jackson’s game, I drove to the other side of DFW for a newborn session, and then drove back home because we had a FUN surprise planned for the kids!
We told them that we were going to shop for Fabric for curtains…..but really, we had reservations for some place fun! 🙂
We spent the night at the Hilton Anatole in Downtown Dallas! They just added a little waterpark to their property, and the kids had an amazing time!
On Sunday morning, we were up bright and early for more water park fun!
We were all big fans of the lazy river!!And, seriously, what is it about those circular doors that is so fascinating? haha!
They have Mario Kart in the lobby, so they played a game or two to get out of the sun for a bit!
We had the best time!!
After we got home, Presley and I had our second cheer practice followed by all the normal Sunday laundry and getting ready for our week! This week, we have more practices, meet the teacher, and a little bit of fun sprinkled in for good measure!! Happy Monday, friends! XOXO Narci
