What’s up Wednesday!

Hey, y’all!!  Today, I am linking up with Shay, Sheaffer, and Mel for their super FUN link-up: What’s up Wednesdays.  I just love sharing what is going on with us every month!   Let’s get started!

The last Wednesday of each month, we answer these questions.  Here we go!

What we’re eating this week….

This week, we are slooowly getting back into the swing of things!   That means we are keeping things simple at dinner time!  Lots of crockpot recipes, breakfast for dinner, burgers, and such!

What I’m reminiscing about…

I am reminiscing about the fun little surprise trip we made to the Hilton Anatole last weekend!   We had a blast!   We told the kids we were going to look at fabric, but I secretly had packed their bags for a night away!

It was the perfect ending to our summer fun!

What I’m loving…

Fall Sports season in upon us, so I will be pulling out my favorite hat for our long Saturdays!   I posted this picture yesterday, and I just love this camo one here! 🙂

Also, If you have been wanting to order some of the Stella and Dot that you’ve seen featured here, I am LOVING the promotion that we are offering through the end of business today!!!  Free shipping is on me for all orders placed today!  If you’d like to shop, you can here!

What I’m wearing…

On Friday, I shared some of the tops that I am wearing as we slowly transition into Fall.  Since then, I have worn this little top over and over again, and I love it!!

This top can be worn off shoulder or on top like I am styling it!  So cute!   img_2761

So far, I’ve worn it to Meet The Teacher, breakfast with Friends, and to run my Saturday morning errands!   What fun!

PS–my shoes are on super sale right now if you have been eyeing those!

What I’m dreading…

nothing at the moment 🙂

What we’ve been up to…

Oh, just a little bit of this and that!   We’ve met the teacher….

and had a girls only day before back to school!
Girl time is good for the soul, no matter your age! 🙂

We’ve been cooking for a group of very special football coaches…

and, the kids started back to school!

Also, we’ve started soccer and football season as well!

What I am working on….

I have my Fall calendar all set, and we are already booking!

Hop on over to my Photography page if you’d like more info on that!

What I’m watching or reading…

As a matter of fact….Tomorrow, I will be sharing my latest reads as a part of our Carpool Book Club!

I can’t wait to share what I have been reading with you!

What I am looking forward to next month!

Friends, give me all the college football!  This girl can’t wait to watch this year’s football season!   We have been waiting ALL SUMMER for this!

What is your favorite Back to School Lunch Idea or Tip?

We picked up these Bento Boxes with our lunch boxes this year, and they are proving to be awesome for Back to School lunches!

My favorite part is that the kids love to fill the boxes themselves!   I have them fill them while I am making dinner the night before (so I can oversee the process) and they do a great job!  Woohoo!

Happy Wednesday, friends!!  Thank you so much for the fun link up, girls! XOXO Narci

    • Good question! Presley picked out the pottery barn lunch box that has a pocket on the side and slides a Gatorade bottle in there. 🙂 Luke picked out an under armour lunch box–he has room in his lunch box for the Gatorade bottle as well! Hope this helps! Xo

  1. I’ve been looking and looking for a good bento-style lunchbox container and some of them are SO pricey!! This one is totally affordable…do you know if the compartment with the little door would hold something like ranch dip or some other liquid? Not like soup liquid, but dips and such?

    • Sadly, I don’t think so–the flap door on that compartment is really not secure enough for that. For the price, it still works for us though. 🙂 I’m on the hunt for a dip container that fits in one of the smaller compartments. I’ll let you know if I find one. 🙂

  2. Where is your camo hat from?! I need that!! It links to Stella & Dot but somehow I feel like that’s not exactly their style. haha. I will text you. And that ziti look sooooo good by the way even before it’s gone in the oven!
