Hey, y’all! Today, I’m linking up with Andrea for her super fun Show and and tell link up! Twice a month, we show and tell about certain topics! Today, is all about what’s in our bag! I am going to go ahead and tell you to brace yourself for this one! haha!
I am a pretty organized person, but remember how we’d had a busy few weeks in our house? Let’s just say that my bag became a catch all for the things that have needed a home since Thursday, and it was a big mess!
Here’s my bag yesterday just after lunch! Seems pretty innocent right?
I want you to know that, in the interest of keeping it real, I just straight up dumped my bag’s contents on the floor…let the chips fall where they may! 😉 We’re all friends here, right? 🙂
Now, I have a pretty strict “No food, no drinks” rule about my bag….but clearly anything else goes. 😉What on Earth!!
I separated all of that mess into piles, and clearly we haven’t passed by many trash cans in the last 6 days!
My trash pile was large and in charge…receipts, lots of straw wrappers (apparently we are thirsty people), and a church bulletin for good measure. If Rob is reading this, then he is cringing because unfiled receipts give him an eye twitch. Thus is the nature of our relationship: he keeps our electricity on and makes sure our receipts are in order….and I bring the fun and make sure the floors get mopped. It’s a weird opposites attract situation, but we make it work. 😉
After I pulled out the trash, I made two more piles: one of the normal bag items….including sensible things like a wallet, lipgloss, a brush, gum, a pen, keys, my afternoon devotional, and antibacterial.
The sunglasses were not actually in their case, but I feel like I should at least get credit for having the case in my purse. haha. #babysteps
The next pile I made is of my more questionable items 😉
There’s a pair of tiny rhinestone ice cream earrings that were handed to me during church, a certain teen’s earbuds, random coupons for chicken strips, frozen yogurt, and a Game Stop card that has .53 cents on it.
Let’s not forget about my Medieval Times Purple Towel.
I find this one to be odd, because of the mere fact that none of my people have actually been to a Medieval Times in years.
Your guess on where this came from is as good as mine, friends. At least, we can take comfort in the fact that we’re VIP ROYALTY. 😉
Next up is my cheer coaching badge
and two decks of soccer cards. #boymom
My portable memory card storage from my sessions Sunday night…
and a power cord that Rob handed to me at some point during the weekend.
I still have no clue what this gives power to, but it looks important so I am putting it somewhere safe just in case. #random
So, there you go! My mom bag was working overtime this weekend! I should start renting space in it for all the things I’m asked to carry! Haha!
Thank you for a fun link up, Andrea! XOXO Narci
That power cord had to be heavy! Right? After lugging that around all weekend, you can probably skip the gym this week. 😉

I laughed out loud at the purple towel. I actually laughed so hard I was tearing up. That is hysterical!

I felt a little eye twitching myself when I saw receipts in your trash pile! Not really because of myself, but because my husband would have a heart attack if I ever threw a receipt away! lol We keep them for the taxes every year. (and he also keeps a log like your husband)
