Hey, hey! Today, we are starting the drive back home to our dear old Texas…we had a great time visiting family and such. We did a little bit of this and that while we were up north, and our crew sincerely loves a good road trip. These kids have been making this trip since they were babies and are old pros now!
I read a ton on the way !
It was actually pretty warm while we visited, but we were greeted by some cooler than Texas temperatures when we arrived.
While we were there, we tried to do a few fun touristy things…like visit the county fair
and ride all the fun slides!
We were so impressed by these awesome peeps who set up this tent at the fair! Rob and Jackson walked over to chat with them! Love people out there sharing the gospel!
They had horses
and the kids LOVED these swings. 🙂
I am telling you! This fair was FUN!
The next morning, we had plans to head to a festival, but the kids really wanted to visit Rob’s hometown again! He grew up in Hemlock, but his family lives in Saginaw Township now….So, it’s always fun to head here!
We raced around the bases that Rob ran in high school. Spoiler alert: Jackson beat us all. By a long shot. hahaha!
We also had a chance to go to church with Rob’s family
and head to one of our very favorite cities: Frankenmuth, MI.
It’s a little Bavarian town about 25 minutes away…it’s just so cute, and we love this Christmas store that’s located there as well!
Also, on our itinerary? Lots of backyard playing, a trip to the bowling alley, and lots of silly cousin fun! I didn’t take a ton of pictures, but a great time was had by all.
We had a great time and always love visiting family! Happy Tuesday, y’all! XOXO Narci

I really enjoy your blog and I was curious where in Michigan you were visiting since that is where I live. I grew up in Saginaw and now live in Frankenmuth. What a small world ! So glad you had a good visit😊
