Hey, y’all! Happy Tuesday! Today, it’s time for my very favorite post….It’s time for Carpool Book Club!

Each month, I share about the books that I’ve read. These are the books that sit on my nightstand and that I read as a busy mama of 3 kids who are always on the go. Before I started reading, I had a lot of empty space during the in between time. You know, the time when I am waiting for an appointment, by the pool, or sitting with the kids outside….picking up a good book is my favorite way to pass that extra time now . 🙂 I have a great list this month, so sit back and enjoy. You are going to love it all!
The Line-Up
It was a great group of books. 🙂
This book is by Elin Hilderbrand, and I am big fan of her work. 🙂 Her stories are always fun, lighthearted and an easy read which is totally my sweet spot. This book was good, but the title is super deceiving…I was expecting it to be about Winter in Nantucket, and well..it wasn’t. haha. The characters weren’t super endearing like some of her other stories, but the story line was typical Elin fashion. I still enjoyed it even though it wasn’t what I expected! 🙂
This book is by Jojo Moyes, and I have to share that I am like the only person on the planet who doesn’t LOVE her books. I know! I can’t explain it. 😉 However, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. This book starts during WWI and ends in present day, and I really enjoyed the plot line for this one. You should add this to your list of books to read for sure!
Have you read this book? If not, you should probably exit out of this browser window and go start it right now. This is my 2nd time to read it, and I hardly ever revisit books. It will completely change how you view and approach your relationships, daily interactions, and hardships. You will love it!
A sweet reader on may IG recommended this book to me, and it did not disappoint at all. This book does a great job of unpacking what Detours in your life look like from a Biblical perspective. If you are currently experiencing a detour in your world, I’d highly recommend this book for you. Rob and I read this book together (a chapter a day) and chatted over it each day. It’s some good stuff, y’all.
Oh my stars….I can’t even share how much I loved this book with you guys! The main characters are so likable and the story line will keep you hooked the entire time. If you pick one fiction book to add to your reading list, let it be this one. It’s a showstopper for sure!
