Friday Favorites

Hey, y’all!! It’s Friday!  Woohoo! Today, we are hosting Friday Favorites with my girls, Erika and Andrea!!

Friday Favorites-3

Today, I am sharing my favorites like every week, but first I want to share something else with you.

A few years ago, I asked y’all to pray for Jackson’s sweet friend Madeline (her mama and I have known each other since they were babies!).  As you may recall, Madeline had been diagnosed with cancer and beat it through treatment and surgery!  Praise the Lord, and thank you for those prayers!

Sadly, she was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma again and begins her first chemo treatment this week.  Could you please pray for this precious girl again?  I would appreciate it more than I can even put into words!

This is Madeline’s mama, Shana, with our Luke…

Shana is a teacher in McKinney and ran into Luke at lunch while he was on her campus.  She knew he was feeling nervous about going to the new campus for the day, so she made a point to find him and make him feel more comfortable (and his mama too.)  So, yes, this family is precious and we are lifting them up to the Lord as they navigate this cancer journey again.  I’d be honored if you’d join us in prayer too.

On a much lighter note, this darling girl lit up my computer screen this week.  I asked her mom if I could keep her, and it was a hard no (sadly.).  I can see why, because she’s pretty darn cute!

Festive fun is starting to kick in this week!  The elementary school teachers came to carol in our neighborhood. 🙂IMG_4786

The elf is still going strong.  I really feel like this is our last year where the kids will believe in this, so I am trying to have a good attitude about his hijinx. 😉IMG_4802

We’ve been carolingIMG_4811

and Christmas partying!IMG_4817

And, I have to give Stella and Dot all the props!   They have some FUN Holiday accessories currently!   I have and LOVE this flip sequin clutch

And these Hatley baguette earrings!

Also, fun?  These personalized wristlets!  I ordered these for my mom and aunt for Christmas! A super sweet gift for someone special!

Also, if you need Holiday sweater ideas, you can check out my sweater post from yesterday! It’s sweater weather and we couldn’t be more pumped about it!

Happy Friday, friends!! Don’t forget to link up with your favorites below!

  1. That sweet girl stole the show during those pictures. She is absolutely precious!! I’m sad you got a hard no because we could have worked with a maybe. 😉

  2. I hadn’t heard about Madeline! Oh that sweet girl and her family. I just hate this for them. Praying hard that she kicks it’s butt again!

  3. My son’s friend (13) was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in September and has finished 2 rounds of chemo and has surgery next week. His mama is one of my best friends and it has been so hard seeing them go through this. And then to read that this sweet girl has had it come back just breaks my heart. I know that’s their worst fear going forward. Prayers to her and her family.

  4. Oh, that is heartbreaking to hear she’s facing yet another bought of cancer. Of course we’ll pray for her and her family. My kids are aged 11-14 and we still have that darn elf… I thought we’d get away without him and my youngest told me he could not possible write a letter to Santa until the elf came. I guess he still believes and I honestly have no idea if my older two do or not so we just keep the tradition going. I think if I had thought about a 10+ year commitment when we started it I might have though twice but I am trying to enjoy it while it lasts. I know it can’t last forever and one year I’ll miss hiding that darn thing all around.

I love to hear from you! Leave a comment here! :) XO Narci
