Friday Favorites

Hey, y’all!! It’s Friday!  Woohoo! Today, we are hosting Friday Favorites with my girls, Erika and Andrea!!

Friday Favorites-3

Today is my last day of blogging until January 7th.  It’s time for me to switch off the laptop and settle into Christmas BREAK with my crew.  So, I will see you all back here then! In the meantime, I am sharing my favorites from the week.  So go ahead and grab your coffee, and let’s get started!

I wanted to show you our Teacher Gifts!  I am a big fan of practical gifts for teachers, so I always go the gift card route!

I think they turned out super cute with these darling gift card holders!  I bought both the gift cards and the holders on Amazon and both came on the same day that I ordered them!  We are giving a few other gift cards on Christmas Day, so I thought I’d share in case you are looking for a fun way to give a gift card. :).

Cute, right? 🙂

On Wednesday night, Presley and I found ourselves at home without any plans, and somehow we fell down the Netflix rabbit hole.

Listen, I am not a big TV binger…save a handful of my favorite shows, but this show….oh my goodness it is SO GOOD!  The entire idea is that they bring in mediocre or beginner bakers to recreate these really spectacular professional cakes….and well they never quite measure up, of course, but their is a competition and a winner. The hostess, Nicole, is HYSTERICAL, and I really feel like you can watch this with elementary aged kids. (Occasionally, in a moment of frustration with their lack of baking skills, the contestants will let a light cuss word slip) but even if you just binge this one by yourself…it’s seriously funny.  And, that’s totally how Presley and I sat down at 6:30 on a random Wednesday night and the kids didn’t go to bed until 10 pm BECAUSE WE JUST COULDN’T STOP.

Christmas is coming, and that means all the Holiday entertaining!

Speaking of Amazon, I bought these plaid napkins  there and they were delivered the same day as well!  Thank heavens for Amazon’s awesome quick delivery!  They saved this Christmas hostess.

Our town’s Christmas parade was last night, and we had an absolute blast!

We love our town!

Merry Christmas, my friends! XOXO Narci

  1. Merry Christmas Narci and may 2019 be even better than 2018. You sure did have a lot going on this year.
Would love to see a sneak peek of your Christmas Card?

    • Thank you, Sarah! ❤️ With Rob being out of work, I didn’t book a family session for us this year. Once he found a job, I tried to find a photographer but everyone was booked solid. So, I just snapped a few of the kids this year and made a quick card. ❤️❤️ nothing fancy!

  2. We have loved the show Nailed It. The holiday edition is so funny. I mean, every episode is so funny, but that one is killing me! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

  3. Have you watched Nailed It Holiday Edition?! My middle son loves the show and made us all watch one night– we were hooked by the end of the first episode. It is hilarious! I love those adorable gift card holders. I think next year I’m doing all gift cards for the nieces and nephews so I’ll have to add those to my “secret” list!

  4. Several people have suggested Nailed It now so after I finish The Great British Baking Show I will definitely be checking that out. Also that parade looks SO fun! Thanks for sharing, Narci 🙂 xo
