Valentine Craft–What I love about you Bags

In a few weeks, we are hosting a Daddy Daughter Valentine’s Dinner for Presley and some friends at school. This group had plans to go to a community dance, but the dates didn’t work out…so we decided to throw our own little shindig. Fun, right? πŸ™‚

I’ll be talking about everything we have planned for the party later, but I wanted to share the sweetest little craft idea that I have planned ahead of time. We have about 12 girls and their dads attending, and each girl will receive one of these colored hearts for each guest attending. πŸ™‚

On each heart, each party guest will write about one thing that they LOVE about that particular friend. And, then bring their hearts to distribute at the party. πŸ™‚

At the party, we will have a bag for each one of the girls so they can collect all of the sweet things their friends have to say about them. πŸ™‚

I think you could go with these plain bags and have your kids decorate their bag….

or just use these fun printed bags to make things easy. Also, the dads are going to bring a little note for their daughters to include in the bag. And, obviously, we are using this craft in a party atmosphere, but there are so many ways you could adapt this for your family as well.

Easy little valentine’s craft for you this Valentine’s Day. Happy Wednesday, friends! See you back here tomorrow! XOXO Narci

  1. I love this! We did something similar on mission trips in high school (yes, the affirmation is nice even for high schoolers!!) – one time, everyone wrote their affirmation in Sharpie on the back of a T-shirt you were wearing. The next year, it was in a journal for each person that got passed around the bus on the way home for everyone to fill out a page. I still have both even though I’m now 35 πŸ™‚

I love to hear from you! Leave a comment here! :) XO Narci
