Hey, hey friends!! Happy Wednesday! Today, I am sharing what I am watching and reading this month. Because really is there anything better to do in January then to settle into a good book or show? I don’t think so!
So, everyone has been telling me to watch this show, so I started it recently!
My thoughts: the writing is excellent, the characters are so likable, and the show is actually laugh out loud funny! My only drawback is the language….I just feel like it would be so much better without the bad language, but if that doesn’t bother you then you will love this one too!
Also on my watch list? I’m keeping up with the Bachelor and Colton.
I wish I could say that I love this season, but I don’t. The problem is that I am not a fan of Colton’s….I really don’t think he knows who he is, so it’s hard for ME to know who he is and really get invested in his love life. I am sticking around for this season to see more of what makes the Bachelor fabulous. P.S. Hop over to Sheaffer’s page for the best Bachelor recap in town! She is so funny!
Also on my list is to tune into Celebrity Big Brother. I have the first episode recorded, and I can’t wait to check this out! Hopefully it will deliver!
Earlier this week, I ordered a batch of devotionals for myself and the kids, so that’s what is on my reading list right now. One of my goals for 2019 is to be more intentional with the kids about their Faith, so I am excited about some fresh books and tools to do just that. This list kind of long!
I think I mentioned that I am reading this book with Jackson, and it is a good one! It’s a little headier than I’m used to, but I think it’s great to mix it up sometimes!
I grabbed this Daily Devotional for Luke, and the samples look perfect for his age. 🙂
and this Dinner Devotional for our dinner time conversations. 🙂 We are big on having dinner together each night, and I am hoping this will be an awesome tool!
My friend Hollye has been raving about this devotional, so I grabbed it just to have something fresh for the new year for myself while we are at it. I am so excited to try it!
And, in keeping with my goal for 2019, I grabbed this book about raising Kingdom Kids. I will let you know what I think, but the reviews are awesome!
And speaking of Faith books: a pastor in the Dallas area is publishing a book for couples who are engaged.
A mutual friend asked me to read it and give a review, and I was all in. 🙂 I get requests for books for new couples all the time, but I don’t have any great references in this area. So, I was so happy to be able to read this one. 🙂
Happy Wednesday, y’all! See you back here tomorrow! XOXO Narci
