Hand Lettering 101: Book Review

Hey, hey! Happy Monday, from my house to yours.  Today, I am sharing about something fun! If you remember, I have a  little bucket list for next few months leading up to my 40th birthday!  And one of the first things on my list is “Learn Hand Lettering.”

So, I went on Amazon to see if there were any guides for this sort of thing, and I saw this CUTE workbook with great reviews.  I was sold! 🙂

I have been really impressed with the way this workbook is set up.  It starts with general tips and then moves to letter drills….I have  learned so much about these brushstrokes through this part of the learning process. 🙂

and then the workbook eventually moves on to harder concepts and projects for you to work on independently. 🙂

One one side, the author shows their example…

and then you can try your hand at it on the other side. 🙂

And, all said, I have really ended up LOVING this workbook, because it’s a fun creative outlet that’s easy for me to do as a mom of 3 kids.  What a blessing!

One more thing: a bunch of you asked which markers I used, and I ordered these markers with the workbook.  They have been the perfect set for a beginner.  So, if you are looking for an easy way to get into hand lettering, I totally recommend them both!

Happy Monday, y’all! See you back here tomorrow! XOXO Narci
