Hey, Hey y’all!! It’s Friday! Today, we are hosting Friday Favorites with my girls, Erika and Andrea!!
And, Happy Good Friday to you! It’s the beginning of Easter weekend, and if you are local, I wanted to personally invite you to celebrate with our family this Easter. 🙂
You can find more information about all of that FUN here. 🙂
Fifteen years ago, this Easter Season, I heard the message of Grace for the very first time (in this very church, as a matter of fact.)
And, I have to tell you that when I saw the fires at Notre Dame this week, I was so incredibly saddened, but I also couldn’t help but think about what an illustration this tragedy was…In that, we all have “fires” in our lives. They come through and try to ravage everything in their path and potentially even burn something to the ground….but God is in the business of walking through the fire with us, shielding us, and bringing us peace while we feel the heat of the flames. And, then He does something amazing: He restores and rebuilds as the smoke begins to clear. Redemption is a beautiful thing. Beauty from the Ashes.
Did you see that even as parts of the cathedral were still burning, the cross was left standing?

“Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God.” –Mark 10:27
