A Day in the Life

Hey, hey, y’all!! Happy Tuesday from my neck of the woods to yours!  Today, I am sharing a day in the life….and there’s nothing I love more than getting a little peek into another person’s life!  So, let’s get started!

First off, I was up nice and early!

I went in the kitchen for a quick breakfast and started the coffee! Then, I cozied up for some quiet time! Yahoo!

Then it was time to get some work in!   I started some editing and worked for about an hour and a half!

and then stopped to clean a little around the house before the kids got up!  Jackson left super early for football and didn’t get home until much later on this particular night. :). Spring Football has started for him!

I  checked backpacks, finished up lunches, and made breakfast for the crew!

On our way!

I came home, replied to morning emails, and got ready for the gym!

Also, can we just laugh at my sunburn from the weekend?  It was overcast, and I forgot about sunscreen! eek!

Afterwards, I went to a fun breakfast meeting with some awesome ladies, and I totally forgot to take a pic! Darn!

After we wrapped up, I came home to get some more photography work done! I worked for about 3 hours here. 🙂

On this afternoon,  I was cleaning up the background of all my Bluebonnet Pictures.

Because the fields are busy, you can often find one or more people in the background of these pics! haha! Ta da!  I photoshopped them out!

I finished up about 2:30 pm and ran up to the local Fire Station to vote early for one of my awesome clients…

And, somehow, this little doozie happened in the school parking lot at pickup.  I haven’t been in a car accident in 6 years, so I was bummed…but it happens!  Thankfully, no one was hurt!

This girl and I waited while Mr. Luke got his hair cut after all the excitement

And then we navigated the homework, sports, dinner shuffle. 🙂

This guy made it home just in time for dinner!

Rob always does bedtime.  He has for years, and I just love that!

After the kids went to bed, I worked for Stitch Fix

And, then, I went to bed nice and early! I could barely keep my eyes open by 9 pm!  I tried to read, but it wasn’t happening!

So there you go! Just a normal, average Monday in my life!   What do you think?  See you back here tomorrow, y’all! XOXO N

  1. Oh NO on the fender bender but such a great way to look at it! I fell asleep reading last night-just could not keep my eyes open!

  2. That totally bites about your car! UGH! My last wreck was in a parking lot too. I was sitting still at a stop sign, and a lady just backed right into me. I felt terrible for her! So glad nobody was hurt!

  3. Man, I want to take some inspiration from you on the early mornings. 5:15 is literally the best I can do and it’s not often. If you can do it, so can I! I think! LOL!
