This week I am back from a 2-week break, and it couldn’t have been nicer to set down my computer because we kind of had a crazy, whirlwind of a ride over the last two weeks. Want to see what we were up while we were gone? Yes? That’s good, because here we go! 😉
It all started with celebrating this handsome boy’s 11th birthday.
Is it just me or did he turn into a pre-teen overnight?
We invited his buddies over for a Nerf Gun War/Water Dodgeball Fight/Soccer Game, and it was an absolute blast.
Luke has a great group of friends, and I really do adore each one of them.
The next morning, Rob and Jackson head off to Extreme Camp
while Presley and I played cheerleader for Luke at a soccer tournament. He played for a new team, in a new division, and left it all out on the field. We were so proud of him!
And, they walked away with 2nd place which I thought was so cool!
We celebrated all that wokr with sleepovers with friends and as much cheese and carbs as we could manage. hahah!
And Presley reminded us all how hard it is being the little sister to two active brothers. We were all tired from the fun!
What else have we been up to? More soccer tryouts before signing day
and a Texas Themed party on a Friday night
We went as characters from Friday Night Lights, because if dressing up like Dillon Panthers is wrong…I just don’t want to be right.
We watched the clouds roll in on more than one occasion….and celebrated Jackson turning 16. Isn’t he so handsome? 16 looks so good on you, love!
Maybe you remember that we cashed his big birthday present over Spring Break with a sweet trip to Washington, D.C!
We enjoyed some great sermons at church
and even attended a backyard Bible club. Presley loves to lead worship…it’s so neat to see this at work in her.
And, we also went to the pool approximately 80 million times! ha! One of my favorites was to the Beach Club in our neighborhood.
We were supposed to head down to the Florida during my blogging break, but the days that we were scheduled to be there were supposed to be incredibly rainy. After the year we’ve had, we just knew that we couldn’t drive all that way to sit in our hotel and be sad about the weather. 🙂 So, we made the tough decision to move it to just after 4th of July. In the meantime, we are making our own beach fun…and that can be just as sweet.
Also fun, we visited our favorite patio and pizza place for a great time.
and, I wore one of my very favorite rompers, earrings, and wedges!
Add in a ton of work on top of all this…and that’s what we’ve been up to lately. These are the days, friends, and I am here for it all. So thankful for all the details, small and BIG. We are so incredibly blessed. Every single day.
See you back here tomorrow! XOXO Narci
