Turks and Caicos, Part 4

Happy Wednesday, y’all!! Today is the 4th and Final recap of our trip to Turks and Caicos! So fun, right?

So, on this day, we had an snorkeling excursion planned but it was cancelled due to a very heavy rainstorm coming through that morning. So, we headed down to the beach for one last bit of sun before the rain came in. 🙂

This water never gets old. 🙂

We took this opportunity to go paddle boarding at the resort, and this was so fun! And total bonus: We were able to enjoy our lunch on the beach before it really started to rain! So nice!

For the rest of the afternoon, we watched the rain and the ocean on our balcony, and I visited the spa for a facial. We even took a little walk into town with umbrellas provided by the hotel. It was such a fun afternoon!

Since it rained through dinner, we ordered a delicious room service dinner of steak. At this point, I was seriously craving a salad, and the chef whipped up a dressing for me that was absolutely divine. We ate most of our meals at the resort and they were all incredible. Including this one!

We finished up just before the rain cleared out and saw the prettiest sunset of my life! I’ve never seen colors like this before. 🙂

The resort had a fire eater that night which was so cool to watch!

He was a fun little treat to finish the evening! The next morning, we walked over to breakfast.

and had the best view on the way! I loved this little path. Someone please fly me out to Turks for a session so we can use this for a location. 🙂

And, then we cleaned up to head out to the airport. We had a blast, and I was SO EXCITED to get home to the kids.

This is the lobby of our hotel when we checked out!

So many of you have asked where we stayed, and I have to give all the credit to our awesome Travel Agents, Mix & Match Tavel Agency, for finding this amazing for us and planning every single detail! We absolutely ADORED the Grace Bay Club. I totally recommend getting in touch with these ladies if you are planning a vacation to Turks or somewhere else! They were SO EASY to work with, and they took care of every single detail seamlessly. We would have never planned something so fabulous on our own. 🙂 Thank you so much for making this trip so incredibly special Mix & Match!

So, that’s it! I’d say it was the BEST way to kick off turning 40, and the perfect FIRST trip away for these two parents! We had the absolute sweetest time and are already planning our next few vacations! So fun!

See you back here tomorrow, y’all! XOXO N
