Well, the temperatures are finally starting to cool off here in Texas, so this week I headed to Trader Joe’s for some of their fantastic Fall line. I needed some easy, but cozy meals that I could whip up in a matter of seconds because Life is just busy right now. TJs did not dissapoint.
First of all, you should know that we are addicted to these donuts. They remind us of the Cider donuts from Rob’s home state of Michigan, and we throughly enjoy this little bit of nostalgia with a cup of coffee. I had two today, and I am not even mad about it. haha!
I was in the frozen aisles and ran into one of my neighbors, and she said that I HAD to try these gnocchi
mixed with this Sausage and Pesto. I am not one to argue with the people, so I picked it all up that day. I served it with Chicken and it was fabulous!
Nothing says cozy like soup and a sandwich, so I picked up their sourdough bread which is a crowd favorite in our house!
Some cheese for Grilled Cheese
and tomato soup. Andrea taught me long ago to melt Boursin cheese in this for an amazing variation also.
My kids prefer it plain, but the added Boursin is absolutely delish.
I am big fan of a quick bread that makes my morning or a special snack that much easier!
I forgot to take a picture of the Trader Ming’s orange chicken before we ate it a few nights ago, but you should know it’s a big hit in our house. My kids love this with white rice and gobble it up every single time!
Happy Thursday, y’all! See you back here tomorrow for Friday Favorites! XOXO Narci
