Wide Open Spaces

Hi!  Well, I’m back! First, I want to thank y’all so much for all of the incredibly sweet comments that I received after sharing our big news last week.  As you can imagine, the exact timing and how this will look in the face of what our nation is walking…..is going to have to be ALL GOD but we are being patient and putting our “yes” on the table!  I am excited!

How things will change here…for now, I will be posting on M,W, and F.  You may see a small shift in tone here as I work to reflect where my heart is currently and more accurately on these pages….and that means being really purposeful of the content that I share here and how often I do it.  I can’t wait to be here with y’all on these days together.  This may change back to daily content, but for now we are being FLEXIBLE and ADAPTING.  I love it!

Also, if you find yourself over on Instagram and are looking for something to help your anxiety over current times…you can pop over to my Instastories….we’ve been reading some Bible verses every morning over there, and it’s been so very cool to see God use that.  Lord, less of me and more of YOU….every single time. 🙂

Anyway, on the blog, I am sharing a life update.  We’ve been enjoying a slower pace these days, and I am here for it.

These days are all about making the best of it..Social distancing is optional within the Dreffs family. haha.

Are anyone else’s dogs living their best life with everyone being home?  Dixie Dreffs is in pure Heaven!

These days are for selfies found on my phone 😉 And some helpers while I try to work

It’s been finding ways to keep our bodies active. Welcome to our PE class, y’all!

and reading…..

lots of reading!

These days have been for playlists that are filled with Hope…I totally recommend you follow this one on Spotify.  It’s fantastic!

And Hallmark Chirstmas movies that are just good for the soul. :). We watched two on Friday night, and it was so sweet.

And, finally, Rob and I took a trip to the grocery store. That’s newsworthy right? haha! I feel like these days it is.  We really hadn’t been out of the house for a whole week and we needed to replenish our groceries.  I am glad that Rob was there, because it was a little crazy, and thankfully he is a grocery store expert…..what would have taken me a sweet forever, took us 30 minutes from beginning to end!  I love this guy!

Happy Monday, friends! I will see y’all here on Wednesday with more fun! XOXO Narci

  1. We’ve been getting out for hikes a few times a week just to get in that fresh air and sunshine. I hope you were able to find what you needed at the grocery store. I’m really dreading our trip there this week as it seems like there is less and less to pick from each time. Thankfully we were pretty well stocked beforehand and only have a few items on our list..

  2. Your blog is a bright spot in my day. Thanks for all the Christ-centered content you share. I just finished Melanie’s book and thought it was great. I know you’ll love it. It’s easy to see His light shining through you.
