A few resources for you! :)

Hey, Hey y’all!  Happy Wednesday!

Well, we are on day 3 of school from the house, and can I be real and say that it’s going so well??  I have to give all the credit to the kids’ teachers.  They have made everything so easy for us..  What an absolute blessing.

Today, I have something fun to share with you…Lifeway reached out and asked if I would share some of the free studies that they are offering during these hard times.  I was so incredibly blown away  but this list!

Here’s the info that they sent me and asked me to share with you. 🙂

I absolutely love that Lifeway is providing free and low cost studies diuring this time.  So happy to pass the word along to you!

Also, I shared these resources as an option in my stories….a bunch of you have asked for a post on these, so I thought I would include them here as well.  If you have been wanting to dig a little deeper into your Faith walk, these are great places to start.

New Morning Mercies

Last year, I did this devotional and I totally recommend it if you are looking for a deep dive into scripture and the Gospel.  This blessed me so much, and I promise your underlining pen will be very busy.  I would say that this devotional is more scripture and emotion based.  So, if that speaks to you then this will be perfect!

Awaken

This is the devotional I am using this year, and I have so enjoyed working through it.  I woukd say this devotional is more topic based…..less emotions but still very Gospel based. Priscilla has a true gift for teaching, so she always blesses me through this.

It’s Not Supposed to Be This Way

Okay, so I just love this book so much.  It came out smack dab after Rob’s job loss and was such a gift in processing all of the emotions related to that.  I think it would be an excellent resource for these days right now as we all seek to process complex emotions..  Definitely check it out!

Fervent

Okay, this book is a fantastic reource on prayer. If you are struggling with your prayers or just wanting to grow that area of your walk, I can not recommend this one enough.  This book was a total game changer for me. Oh gosh, I am super excited just thinking about you maybe reading this one.  Read it and then email me laterso we can talk about it. It’s so good. 🙂

Chasing Vines

You know I am a huge fan of Beth Moore, so when her new book came out I knew I had to check it out.    I have to say that there is a LOT of detail and imagery about vineyards in the beginning of this one…and not being a plant person made that a little harder BUT OH MY STARS….I really felt connected to this book.  It’s all about abiding, obedience, and  much more, but I can’t recommend it enough.  I actually think i might read it a second time because it was that good!

On the Bright Side

Well, I just love Melanie Shankle.  Her writing is SO funny…and i am convinced that no one can tell a story better than she can. This is a great enouraging read, and I already know that you will love this one and her.  Order it if you want to laugh, smile, and maybe be reminded of some good Truth along the way.  She’s the best.

Trustworthy

And, finally I am doing this study….it was on my list from earlier in the year and I just can’t think of a better time to be finding him Trustworthy in everything. I just began this one, but I will keep you posted!

See you here on Friday!  I am making a new recipe, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
