Happy Wednesday, y’all! I don’t know about you, but I am so happy to be back in the groove here. We are far from finished with the house stuff, but we are making some headway
My front door is looking super festive with this CUTE lemon door hanging right now! It has the fruit of the spirit verse written all over it, and it’s darling! My friend Hollye is selling these and other CUTE signs as well!
The kitchen is looking super pretty! Bar stools are in, and everything is unpacked! Someone asked if I am loving the new floors and they are proving to be fantastic. So much easier to keep clean, and so fresh and light!
Where I spend most of my evening while I am cooking. 🙂
And, no..no we have not found our precious furniture feet yet. We took them off so they fit better in the moving truck, and that has proven to not be the best of choices. 😉
So far, we’ve so enjoyed the space…..and the sunrises and sunsets have been so just breathtaking,
All of us are adjusting nicely to the country life, as you can see. 🙂
I will see you back here again on Friday for more of what’s been going on! See you then, XO Narci

Your house looks beautiful. And so glad you’re settling in nicely, sans furniture feet. Thank you for sharing your journey and your continued testimony, dependence, faithfulness to Jesus along the way. Look forward to seeing more. Blessings…

Hi Narci- I have been following your blog for years now (along with Shay, Erika, Andrea and Sheaffer) and I just don’t comment alot but could not resist today because your house is beautiful and exactly what I would love in a house! We live in MN and have a beef cattle farm that is not on the same property as our home but would love to build at the farm some day and your house is exactly what I have in mind!! Enjoy your new home and thank you for sharing your pictures!!

How far away did you move from McKinney? I read all the “Mckinney” ladies blogs, and noticed lately that none of them were commenting on your post like they used to?

I have never commented on a blog, but wondering if you can share any info on your flooring? I am currently searching. Really brightens the space. Your new home is beautiful!

First, let me just say you have been such a bright, encouraging voice. Love reading your blog! The house is stunning but perfectly cozy looking. Also, it takes such bravery to not give in to the “hamster wheel”. ❤️ Many blessings to your family! ☺️

Are you going to let your cat outside? I can only imagine the critters it could bring home. One time our neighbour’s cat brought a snake inside!!! Ick. Of course we don’t have poisonous snakes here.
Those skies are divine, that alone is enough reason to move to the country. Keep the photos coming.

Oh my gosh! Daisy’s indoor only ❤️ and Dixie just goes outside to do her business. (They like the country life through the view of the windows mostly. ) Haha! I’d love to get a barn cat and some chickens at some point tho. Wouldn’t that be fun? ❤️😍

Beautiful house and land! I grew up a city girl in Nashville, but married my farm-boy college sweetheart and we settled on his family’s land in Kentucky. It was an adjustment for me, but I grew to love it and don’t want to live anywhere else now. I hope you love the country life as much as we do.
Sarah’s comment reminds me of our cat. We have a mostly outdoor cat (he has a bed and food bowl in the garage but spends the majority of his time outside unless it’s cold or raining.) I don’t know what it is this summer, but he has been bringing us a “present” every morning in the form of a dead mouse or dead frog on the front porch. Ugh!! No snakes so far, thank goodness!
