What’s Going On

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you had a great weekend with your crew.

Down here in Texas, we had a little winter weather last week! We had fun sledding and being cozy with our crew, and now it’s back to school and work and our normal routine 🙂

I thought it would be fun to share what we are up to right now by answering a few questions!

What we are eating?

So, last week, we tried Hello Fresh, and I really thought it was a fun change of pace.  I don’t know that we will do in on a regular basis (it’s kind of pricey), but it was fun to try and switch things up a bit!  We made, fajita beef bowls, a delicious pasta, Shepard pie, and Chicken/Couscous! Everything was tasty and super easy to make!

What I am watching?

This weekend, I watched a few episodes of Celebrity Big Brother.  So far, it’s keeping me entertained–do you have any favorites?  I am only a few episodes in, but I am laughing at all of the alliances being formed.  Todrick talking about all of the ones that he had been included in was super funny!

What I am reading?

Okay, I am reading this book, and, so far, I am really enjoying it.  Some of the things that the main character says to the kids seem a little harsh, but I am trying to remember that it’s just fiction of course.  The way it approaches grief really is tender and so sweet though.

What are we up to?

Ah, this is so fun! It’s time for Spring Sports at the kids’ school!   Luke is playing soccer of course but also running track, and Presley is trying something new: softball.  It should be a fun and busy few months this Spring and I am here for all the excitement! Let’s go!

I hope you have a great week, my friends! See you back here for some more fun on Wednesday! XOXO Narci

  1. I love hearing what you have been up to and am so happy you’re back touching base with us . I am just wondering if there is a way to access your recipes ? I have made some in the past and loved them and would love to make them again. We really enjoyed the blueberry muffins over the weekend .

    • I agree, Marla! It would be amazing if Narci could make a recipes section on her blog. She could leave the rest archived, if she wants, and just open up the recipes posts. 😊
