Friday Things

Happy Friday, my friends! I hope you are having a great day today! Before I get started….I know you don’t come here for your current events, but I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and pray for Ukraine. My heart hurts for this so much. Lord, we look to you.

What’s going on around here? My kids had an unexpected few days off from school due to icy conditions, so this week has just been a little off. I am thankful for Spring coming, being outside more, and all that entails!

Next week, we have all of the fun things happening: Spring Break trips for our crew, but also something so super cool! Can I share something fun with you? We found a house! If you’ve been keeping track, we bought a townhouse in McKinney with the intent of finding something more family friendly when the opportunity arose. The details of how it all went down were so cool, and it ended up being so good for our family. What a blessing!

More on that next week, and I will make sure to update you here. If you need me in the meantime, I will be heading to Target to pick out shower curtains and all the light bulbs. The new house: let’s just say it needs new lightbulbs, everywhere! haha!

Much love, Narci

  1. Bless you for praying for Ukraine. It’s not current events, it’s life lately. With all that is going on there…some of our everyday life seems mundane in their presence. Never apologize for praying for people who suffer. It is humane.

I am so glad there is at least one blogger who acknowledges Ukraine and doesn’t babble on about Amazon and Nordstrom as if all is good in the world. It is not.
